We desire to be worshippers. As an overflow of that worship,
our goal is to effectively lead others into the reality of the presence
of God, where they can respond to His greatness and
glory, be intimately touched by His nearness, and be
powerfully changed into His likeness.
OPPORTUNITIES FOR VOCALISTS
Lead Music Team
The Lead Music Team is the regular team of lead worshippers
for Cornerstone. Vocalists on this team make the highest
level of commitment to the music ministry at Cornerstone.
The number of participants varies each year. Auditions
are required. All vocalists must serve as an apprentice
before serving on this team.
Vocal Apprentices
Our year-long apprentice program offers the experience
of serving on the Lead Music Team within
a learning context. Auditions are required for the participants
who will lead worship on a rotating basis six to eight
times per year. Apprentices rehearse regularly and receive
basic training in lead worshipping.
OPPORTUNITIES FOR INSTRUMENTALISTS
Lead Music Team
The Lead Music Team is the regular team of lead worshippers
for Cornerstone. Instrumentalists on this team make
the highest level of commitment to the music ministry
at Cornerstone. The number of participants (and types
of instruments) varies each year. Auditions are required.
Instrumental Apprentices
Our year-long apprentice program for instrumentalists
offers the experience of serving on the Lead Music Team
within a learning context. Auditions are
required for the varied number of participants who will
lead worship on a rotating basis six to eight times
per year. Instrumental apprentices will rehearse with
the different teams on a regular schedule.
OTHER OPPORTUNITIES
Special Productions
Cornerstone desires to use all areas of the arts,
including music, drama, video and dance, to present
special productions on a regular basis. From musicals
and plays to large group celebrations, our productions
offer the challenge of a longer-term rehearsal schedule
for a specific outreach purpose.
