WHY D6?
The name of our children's ministry comes from the Old Testament book of Deuteronomy, chapter 6, verses 4-9: "Hear, O Israel: The LORD our God, the LORD is one. Love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul and with all your strength. These commandments that I give you today are to be upon your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up. Tie them as symbols on your hands and bind them on your foreheads. Write them on the doorframes of your houses and on your gates." (NIV)
There is clear instruction that we should
invest in our families by impressing upon our children
the ways of God...all day and every day. Check out d6families.com for more information.
D6 FAMILIES | Wednesdays at 6:30p (During the school year)
D6 Basics (Kindergarten through 5th grade) meets for age-appropriate Bible study from 6:30p to 7:30p while parents meet in the Foyer.
At 7:30p, both parents and children gather in the Auditorium for the D6 Gathering (music, dance, drama and teaching from the Word). Children ages 3 through pre-kindergarten join the D6 Gathering, too.
D6 Beginnings (birth through age 2) is available from 6:30p to 8:00p.
D6 WEEKEND | All Weekend Services
We offer a special church service for pre-kindergarten,
kindergarten, first grade and second grade children. D6 Weekend is available during each weekend service.
